The Salvation Army' Covid 19 Community support
Campaign by The Salvation Army (RCN 214779 and in Scotland SC009359)
Supporting those who are struggling during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Story

Right now I’m thankful that I have food in my cupboards and my fridge. I have the ability to get to the supermarket and buy food. For many vulnerable people this is a luxury. Thanks to Newham Council many homeless people that we work with within the NEWway (shelter) and NEWday (day centre) projects have been placed in temporary accommodation. We have made the commitment to get food to the formerly homeless people in their new homes and communities. We are also working hard to be able to support people who are referred to us who have no money for food.

We want to respond to the COVID-19 crisis in a way that reflects our church values of loving  God and loving our neighbours as ourselves.

If you are able to support just by adding and donating one extra item of shopping to your trolley and donating it  or £1 to this appeal it will make a difference!

Thank you! Please stay safe and stay home if you have the privilege of being able to and if there is anything you need please contact us!
