Brighton Marathon 2017 · 9 April 2017 ·

We are helping to raise money through activities and events in the hope that we can assist the school in buying much needed equipment and additional resources for the school & the children. We are all very passionate about what we are trying to achieve & hope you will be too.

Story

Hi I'm one of the parent governors at Peter Gladwin, my daughter Evie is in Year 1. I am running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 9th April 2017 and would like to use this event to raise some much needed funds for Peter Gladwin school. We are all aware of the funding issues currently facing the school, and I hope to be able help the school by running 26.2 miles through the streets of Brighton.

Any donations would be greatly received, and you can be assured I will be in pain by the end of it - if that helps you to part with your money! So please dig deep and if you are out supporting on the day give me a big cheer (or a push) if you see me.

I'll post updates including my Bib number once I pick it up. I'm hoping to be running in a bright yellow vest with the PGS emblem on the front. You can also track my progress by using the Brighton Marathon App.

Hopefully there will be some collection buckets at the Easter Egg Trail on Friday after school, plus hoping to get a just giving page sorted very soon.
