Story
Hi All, appreciate you clicking the link.
As many of you know I had stage 4.3 testicular cancer at 17, the cancer spread to my lungs, lymph nodes, Liver and i was given poor prognosis, I distinctly remember…50/50 is what the doctor said, I’ve always felt that 50% is a good chance since.
I was diagnosed through back pain, I had a 8 x 12cm mass edging closer to my spinal cord causing pain. I was in the fortunate or unfortunate position depending how you look at it, of being very fit at the time, which masked a lot of my symptoms. luckily I was in the best possible position to sustain intensive GAMEC chemotherapy.
After 6 months of chemotherapy at St barts London, a few hours on the operating table; I can gladly say I’m one of the lucky ones! With a few battle scars, I am now 10 years in remission.
When I was going through treatment there were not many opportunities to help emotionally and financially, that’s why I’ve chosen teenage cancer trust. To help raise funds for people going through a similar situation to what I had to endure.
Thank you for reading and donating, everything helps…I better start training … 🤣
