This May, have a cake and a cuppa to fundraise for Dementia UK, and help even more families receive the life-changing emotional and practical support of dementia specialist Admiral Nurses.

Story

Here at Leeds Autism Services, many of our lives have been affected in some way by dementia, so we are holding a Covid safe tea party during #TimeForACuppaWeek to support and raise vital funds for Dementia UK.

We've chosen Wednesday 5th May as our day to get together in our VACS bases (& virtually) for a range of activities, challenges and, of course, a cuppa or two!

Activities Include:

  • Wear something purple
  • Make your own 'arts & craft' ribbon
  • Personalise the 'I Love Someone With Dementia' poster
  • Tea Tasting - earl grey, green tea, macha, herbal and roobios tea

Fundraising

During the day, we will be counting the steps made by our members and staff during their support sessions and we aim to complete 30 miles to fundraise for Dementia UK.
