Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our annual charity fashion show, Tribal Instinct, is back. We are committed to raising as much as we can for our chosen charity; The Purple Box.

The Purple Box is an organisation that works to provide free sanitary towels to girls in Arusha who need, but cannot afford them. This initiative was founded by fellow student Naureen Gamdust during her gap year. Naureen partnered with local supermarkets, strategically placing purple boxes in areas where people could donate packs of the towels they would buy. Her initiative grew and she now has under her care 500 Purple Box Girls.

A fellow student decided to change the world, so we joined her.

We want to be able to make as sustainable a donation as we can to this worthy cause. This means that we need to be able to take care of our overhead costs without depleting our set donation target for the charity.

Donating to Tribal Instinct means that you help us put up a phenomenal show in addition to touching the lives of 500+ girls in Arusha.

Sincerely,

The Leeds East African Society.
