Summary:

Every year the Lord Mayor of Leeds chooses a charity to support and raise money for. This year’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Jane Dowson, has chosen Candlelighters.

Candlelighters are a brilliant charity who support children and families that have been affected by childhood cancer. This year they're hoping to raise funds to purchase and renovate a cottage near the Leeds General Infirmary as a place where patients and families can stay whilst children undergo cancer treatment. More information on the great work Candlelighters do can be found here: https://www.candlelighters.org.uk/howyoucanhelp/the-candlelighters-cottage/

As part of the Leeds Lunch Trail, we’re inviting you to
make a donation of £3 or more to Candlelighters and, in return, you’ll get to enjoy exclusive lunch deals across the city.

With many different restaurants and cafes generously offering discounts to support this great cause including Le Chalet, Wapentake, Philpotts, Tharavadu and more, there’s guaranteed to be something that tickles every tastebud. Sounds good?

Get involved by donating £3 (or more!)
to Candlelighters through JustGiving. Then, please forward your donation confirmation to LeedsLunchTrail@leeds.gov.uk and we’ll reply with your personalised Leeds Lunch Trail e-ticket. This is a really important step as JustGiving doesn't provide us with your email address automatically.

You'll receive an email on the morning of September 25 with a complete list of offers that you'll be able to take advantage of throughout the week.
