On October 11th I will be taking part in the Leeds Memory Walk.

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 1 million people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support.

I will be walking for my Grandad who is currently living with Alzheimer's/Dementia and in memory of my family members who have sadly passed due to this disease.
