Leeds Pass the Parcel · 28 September 2017

Lord Mayor of Leeds 2026–2027, Councillor Stephen Holroyd, raising funds for the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal supporting St Gemma’s Hospice and MESMAC, which provide vital end-of-life care and inclusive health, wellbeing and social services across Leeds.

Story

On Thursday 28th September, companies in Leeds will take part in a giant version of the kids' party favourite, Pass the Parcel, to help raise vital cash for a local children's charity.

Leeds Pass the Parcel will be run by graduates from Leeds City Council and is just one of a series of events taking place to support the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal throughout September. Every penny raised though the events, which fall in Children's Cancer Awareness Month, will go to the Lord Mayor of Leeds' chosen charity for this year Candlelighters, a Leeds based organisation that supports families throughout all regions of Yorkshire facing childhood cancer.
