Firstly, thanks for taking an interest and looking at our page.

Our group is made up of Andrew Webster and  Leeds Rugby, Simon Evans from the RFL and Jamie Kilner from Cardinal Heenan High School. Its a bit of a mix but basically we all love a challenge and more importantly raising funds for some great charities.

At the end of March we will be cycling from Leeds to for the Leeds Rugby Foundation and Sport Relief. We chose the Leeds Rugby Foundation as we know first hand that they do some great work in the community with schools, clubs and other charities inspiring children and adults and giving them the right messages in terms of staying healthy using the club as an example.  We also chose Sport Relief as they are a massive charity helping poor and disadvantaged people around the and the World, encouraging people to raise money for these people through Sport.

So if you are thinking of giving your hard earned cash to these charities but aren’t convinced we will be working hard for it, let me assure you we are not going on a holiday. The Cycle will be completed over ten consecutive days. Each day we will be cycling 100 miles and by the end we will have cycled around 1000 miles in total. We are hoping to get most items like hotels, bikes and clothing donated and so the cost of the trip will be very minimal. In fact we are hoping the only cost will come from the petrol we use for our support vehicle and our food.
