Hope For Hawkeswood Day 2014

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
After the success of Hope for Hawkeswood day 2013 we are again holding an event to raise money for youngsters affected with different types of cancer.
Hope For Hawkeswood Day 2014
This year we are raising the money solely for the the unit ran by the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Young persons cancer unit at the Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham or YPU for short.
This is because many of us think this unit, its facility's and second to none staff need all the help they can get to continue doing such a remarkable job. Lee was treated on this unit and spoke very highly of the staff and facility's and although hated his chemotherapy the staff did everything and more to make him feel as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. So we feel its time to give something back.
As we all know, april 24th 2014 will be the 1 year anniversary since losing such a beautiful young man, emotions are high for us all at this time of year but lets try and pull together as one like last year and raise as much money as possible in Lees Honor to stop other young people lose their lifes too soon and help beat this horrible disease. Anything from as little as a penny upwards will be highly appreciated and if Hope For Hawkeswood 2014 is half as successful as last year i'm sure we'll help the unit and people treated on it for the better.
Lets all get behind a wonderful cause, brilliant staff, second to none facility's, Lees amazing family and most importantly possibly the most strong and inspirational person we were lucky enough to know, Lee.
