So this is my first go at fundraising and a personal goal for 2021 that I would be proud to accomplish with your help. I have chosen to raise money with Muslim Hands, as this is a charity that I have always admired which provides opportunities that empower the next generation to build a better future for themselves. 

Education can unlock countless opportunities and is a driving force for social change and an important aspect of personal development and welfare. Groups from different demographics and backgrounds that are unable to shape their own lives, due to difficulties and struggles life has thrown them is a key area to target, as it can help to facilitate change. Therefore, tackling social issues and striving to provide change for people that don’t necessarily have access to the resources and opportunities that we do, is something I feel very strongly about. 

The funds raised will go towards supporting orphans around the world, providing them access to a free, quality education. This includes covering their school fees, transport to and from school, uniform, books, school resources, daily nutritional meals, regular health check-ups, and so much more. 

I have signed up to help raise funds by facing a somewhat wild but worthy challenge (one that is definitely out of my comfort zone)! I believe a target of £400 is achievable and could potentially even be exceeded!
