I have decided that running 26 miles through our capital is a sensible idea. So on Sunday April 25th when most  people will be tucked up in bed, I will join the throngs willing to sacrifice their knees and sanity by running the London Marathon.

I am aiming for 3 hours 30 minutes but must must must go under 3 hours 46 minutes (trust me, there is a particular person I have to beat!) so I would be really grateful if you could sponsor me for my pain.

I did it. AND IT HURT! I ran 3.41.05 so absolutely delighted to run under 3.46. thanks so much to everyone who sponsored me, I hugely appreciate it.
