Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are raising money for Sue Ryder in memory of Lynda, our much missed wife and mother. Lynda, as many of you will know, fought a long battle against ovarian cancer and sadly passed away in July 2018. Sue Ryder, and the Leckhampton Hospice, were a great support to us in the final weeks as we made Lynda as comfortable at home as possible. The charity does an amazing job caring for people with terminal illness and their families. All of the money you donate will go towards helping other families who find themselves in a similar, unfortunate position and desperate for their help.
We (Richard, Simon & Jonathan, with Charlotte's moral support whilst she takes care of baby Finley) have decided to take on the challenge of RideLondon 100. 100 miles of cycling through London and Surrey on August 4th 2019. With one of the team well into drawing his pension, and another trying to remember how painful sitting on a road bike for several hours can be, this will be no small challenge.
However, since riding our bikes in the British summertime might not be considered that hard a task, we have paid all the registration fees and minimum fundraising amounts ourselves. And so, literally ALL of the money you donate will go towards funding the work of this fantastic charity so please give generously or whatever you can, as every little helps.
Thank you.
