I have some fabulous like minded crazy friends who are willing to get very dirty all in the name of charity!

We are letting loose and attempting to run 10k whilst undertaking obtacles such as monkey bars, mud slides and commando nets. There may be a swim in a lake thrown in too!

All this is in aid of The 'Grace research fund', a worthy charity set up by parents in memory of Grace who was born 14 weeks early. The charity is run in conjunction with The University of Warwick and raises money which then allows research projects to be undertaken. These such projects can help doctors to better understand pain relief in these tiny, sick babies. Most recently, Grace (GRF) has launced a fellowship which will give a student from the University the chance to study the effects of maternal diet on the development of pre-eclampsia. The successful student will be mentored by Professors at the neonatal unit at University Hospital, Coventry.

I'm honoured to be involved with this charity and obviously passionate that research is able to continue to help premature babies and their families.
