Isle of Wight Challenge 2018 · 5 May 2018 to 6 May 2018 ·

The Jon Egging Trust supports vulnerable and under-confident young people who are struggling to engage at school. They work with students for up to three years, supporting them to build aspiration and self-belief, and to reengage with learning and maximise their potential.

Story

This year, Southampton University Air Squadron are committing themselves to a number of physically challenging events in aid of The Jon Egging Trust (JET).

With this fantastic charity having a longstanding affiliation to our Squadron and in recognition of the amazing work they achieve, Officer Cadets from SUAS will admirably be participating in the Isle of Wight Challenge; running distances covering no less than either 25km, 53km or 106km.

As this is no mean feat, and will be perhaps the most testing venture for nearly all involved, we're kindly asking that you dig deep into your pockets and support our efforts with as much as you can! Your donations are not only motivating and gratifying, but will surely provide disadvantaged children in schools across the UK a much needed kickstart to unlocking their potential further down the line.

Thanks for taking the time to read!
