Nanny Pat was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease in 2017. Since then, we have watched her memory fade and her health and ability to live a full life decline. Grandad has been her rock and has supported her every step of the way. We are walking for them both, because if it weren’t for Alzheimer’s they would be enjoying their retirement abroad and going on adventures. 

We are taking part in the London Memory Walk on 8th October. 

Until the day we find a cure, we will help create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
