Story
Thank you for visiting my just giving page!
My amazing mum was diagnosed with myeloma back in 2016. My world came crashing down as she said the words terminal cancer. She has been so strong for her family and tries her hardest not to let the emotional and physical pain show on a daily basis.
It affected us all as a family and not a day goes by where I don't think about the fact my mum won't be around to see me get married, or have my first child, or even buy my first house. Some days all I can think about is why me? Why my family? But then I remember, we arnt the only ones affected and the best thing I can do for my mum is to make her feel appreciated and loved for everything she has done for me in my short life with her.
Myeloma isn't talked about like other cancers and awareness of the condition isn't discussed nearly enough. I'm doing a skydive in honour of my mum and the countless other suffers of myeloma who don't get the funding from the government they rightly deserve.
Please help me in helping others have a better quality of life and have a supporting network to help them and their families make the most of the time they have left with loved ones and to make their lives as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Amazing work is done by myeloma UK and I wish to support them in all the hard work they do and I hope you can support them too!
Thank you.
