Leigh's Melksham friends and their families have been working hard to organise a fundraising day to remember. 

One of Leigh's passions was football - playing it, watching it and betting on it!! He was equally passionate about having fun with family and friends. So bringing those things together his friends and fellow players from his boys football team Melksham Park are organising a charity fun day that will include a match between Melksham Park 1995 - 2003 players and a Melkham Legends team of managers, Dads and friends.    

The event which will be held at the Melksham Town Ground will also host a junior football tournament and a match involving a local disabled team. 

There will also be a raffle, sweet & cake stall, barbecue and an auction followed by an evening social and disco. 

 

Leigh was a " warrior" against Ewings Sarcoma and did not let it stop him being positive and hopeful that one day he could help other children and young people who had cancer. We wish to carry out his wishes by holding an event we know he would have approved of and enjoyed.

His George Ward school class are also honouring Leigh by using the event for a 1998-2003 reunion.
