Project 7in4 - Everest Base Camp Trek Fundraising Team · 19 April 2018

Every day, another Australian is left paralysed by a spinal cord injury. The impact of a spinal cord injury on someone’s life, and on their family is overwhelming. SpinalCure’s sole aim is to find a cure for this devastating condition through the funding of medical research.

Story

I've joined the Everest Base Camp Fundraising Trek team to support Project 7in4 and to raise money for SpinalCure and Surf Life Saving. Your donation can really help us smash this fundraising goal!

Our trek to Everest Base Camp will coincide with the World Record attempt being completed by Steve Plain, to summit the 7 highest peaks on each of the 7 continents in under 4 months, and Everest is the last peak on this global mountaineering challenge.

Steve became determined to commence this world record mountaineering attempt when he was lying in a hospital bed. He broke his neck whilst swimming at a beach which could have at least led permanent paralysis.

So now this world record attempt is also a fundraising initiative for SpinalCure Australia and Surf Life Saving WA.

I would be most grateful for any support you can provide by donating to this incredible journey that we are all embarking on.
