My name's Ash, and from March 1st, I will be starting a virtual walk, from Land's End to John O'Groats, to try and raise as much money for Dogs Trust as I can, so that they can keep up the fantastic, and very much needed work for our four-legged friends (caring for and re-homing dogs, as well as educating dog owners). 

The COVID lockdowns have proven particularly brutal for the domesticated animal world, and the number of unwanted dogs has risen considerably.  I don't believe any animal should ever be without a loving home, and a loving family, so please, let's try and raise as much money as possible for this truly deserving cause.  Dogs Trust are not government funded, so every pound given really does help.

Total distance will be 1083.8 miles as set out by the "Conqueror Virtual Challenges" website.  For those reading this that don't know me, I was involved in a very nasty accident a couple of years back, where my legs were crushed between two vehicles (roughly three tonnes of metal).  Surgery has addressed the worst of it, but I still have one ruptured ligament in my lower left leg, so this will be far from easy.  I'm hoping to have the challenge accomplished by the end of October.
