Story
Well Folks,
As part of Lent this year I have decided to set myself a challenge, while raising money for a very essential charitable service during these times. The reason I chose this charity is because I feel no matter who you are you will struggle with mental health at some point in your life. I personally have had my own minor battle with anxiety/depression which led me to developing Alopecia. Services such as Mental Health Ireland promote positive mental health and wellbeing for all individuals and communities and help to support people with lived experience of mental health challenges in their recovery.
My goal is to run 5km a day for 40 days over Lent, so 200km before Easter Sunday.
Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to join me (virtually of course!) then feel free to tag me in your run/walk on your Facebook or Instagram story. I will be posting my progress on Instagram @shanemurph16 and Facebook. It would be great to see ye out for as many days as possible and help beat the lockdown blues. I would also appreciate it if you could share to friends.
Thanks a million and wish me luck!
