Story

Hi, I'll keep this as brief as poss:

Most of you know that my step-dad, Chris, died last year after a very short but deeply courageous battle with cancer. I was able to leave uni and go and be with him in the last few weeks before he died. Oddly, those few weeks were very happy in a way, as Chris was able to spend the time at home with all of us because of an amazing charity who work to achieve a 'hospice at home'.

I loved Chris very dearly, as another parent, unquestionably.
In March, I'm planning on running a half-marathon for him and would like any money people can spare to go to the charity Iain Rennie, which made his last few days great.

If you would like to donate anything at all, you can do it here easily. Any amount is welcome, don't feel stingy; certainly don't feel over-generous. Anybody who knows me, knows that i am extremely lazy and hate running. You are, in fact, paying for me to have a horrible time. And, if you care to come and claim it, I shall owe you a pint.

Thank you. x
