Story

Hello!

I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon this year to raise money for the 'Little Jimmy Brighter Future Fund,' set up in honour of Jimmy, the son of my friend Emily, and in gratitude to the work performed by the GOSH staff.  More info at their website:

https://www.littlejimmybrighterfuturefund.com/our-story

I don't like to saturate my friends with requests for their monies, but I have been inspired by the amount of effort Emily (Shaw-wise) manages to dedicate to the Little Jimmy fund despite being a clincian PhD student and mum all in one! If she can manage a charity and raise hundreds of thousands for GOSH I guess I can do a run, even with a bit of knee nack. To make it a challenge I will try to beat the current Swadling cup record of 1hr 33mins.

Thanks for having a look and extra props if you can donate a little towards their fund :D

The Little Jimmy Brighter Future Fund is a pot of money within Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)'s Children’s Charity that specifically focuses on vital life-support equipment.
