Every penny given helps us to save even more wild lives. Dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. The charity deals with more than 20,000 wildlife emergencies every year. Our policy is to return every patient to the wild once they have recovered.

Story

Hi I'm Leo and I'm 7 years old. Did you know that there are around only 1,000,000 hedgehogs in the U.K, which seems like a lot, but 50 years ago they were 36,000,000. It upsets me because once I went to the National wildlife centre and I saw a heghog. It was so friendly and I couldn't resist it's cuteness. It would be horrible if these and other animals turned extinct.

What's the point in having a world without wildlife? I want to live in a shared world. I want to see more animals and less extinct ones. If we don't look after them, then maybe we'll become extinct too.I don't really like running but I thought it would be good to put work into something I don't like, to do something I do like!

Please help me to raise money for WAF and help protect these animals for our future.

Thank you

Leo
