Next April I will be taking on the infamous London marathon to raise money for leukaemia care. I have chosen this charity as very recently, someone close to my family was taken far too soon after a 14 month battle with blood cancer, leaving behind his incredible wife, twin sons and stepson. Barry was an incredible person and very passionate about sports, so I think running a marathon would be a very special way to honour his powerful legacy he has left behind.
