Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page in memory of Leon Murray, a loving husband and father who passed away peacefully at home on 14^th January 2023 at the age of 84.

Born in Jamaica, Leon moved to Telford in 1961 and dedicated his life to public service. He served as a magistrate, the Vice President of British Methodism, Deputy Lieutenant, local councillor and Mayor in addition to working with a number of local charities and organisations.

Leon was passionate about the local community and so if you would like to make a donation in his memory, we will be splitting this money
between Wellington Methodist Church and a number of other local charities that were close to his heart. Further details about these charities, will be updated on this page in due course.
