We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Hi all,

On 10th August I will be taking part in the RideLondon-Surrey 100, helping to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. This 100 mile event follows the Olympic road race route from 2012 on closed roads, and goes out into the Surrey hills through central London from the Olympic Park, before looping around and coming back into London for a big finish on the Mall.

My target this year is to not only finish of course, but to get under the magical 5 hr barrier, so will need to average over 20mph, which is going to hurt a bit! I've been training hard so far this year, clocking up over 2000 miles already as I build towards race pace and distance. Hopefully with your help I can reach my goals.

Any support for this great cause is much appreciated.
