Story
This November, our family is taking on 100 miles for Pancreatic Cancer UK — for our amazing mam/aunty Cherry 💜
Cherry was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in February this year. She has faced this devastating news with her trademark resilience, positivity and above all, humour. Beating the odds, and as her favourite new saying goes, she's not dead yet! Currently on a chemo break after a good response, Cherry has decided to join us in completing this challenge. In her words, "I'll go once round the block and you f**kers can do the rest." So here we are, doing the rest.👟
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. Half of people with the disease die within three months of diagnosis. With research underfunded and left behind, people are left with only hope to hold onto. That’s why we really need your support this November during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. Donate now and you could help put a test in the hands of every GP 💜Together, we can raise awareness of the disease and the signs and symptoms, so that people can get a crucial diagnosis, sooner. Just £29 could fund further research to improve the speed of diagnosis. £212 could allow researchers to study 13 patient samples to learn more about the genetic changes that make people more likely to develop pancreatic cancer.Thank you so much for your support! 🙏
