Allow me to share my journey with you...
Back in May 2021, I received a diagnosis of leukaemia, specifically a rare form known as chronic myeloid leukaemia. This condition is now part of my life, and it will always accompany me. The chemo tablet I take daily, which I will likely need for the rest of my life, was developed around 20 years ago in 2001 thanks to Cancer Research. Without these incredible treatments, I wouldn’t be here today. That’s why I’m participating in the Colchester Relay for Life 2026 to help raise essential funds for Cancer Research UK. Your support can genuinely make a difference for individuals like me, helping us to live longer! Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. Thank you! LAx
