Mavisbank is a school for pupils with complex needs. All are wheelchair users, many are visually impaired and are working mentally at the very earliest stages of life. The pupils learn about the world through their senses and love interacting with others in the community. The pupils are inspirational!

Over the last few years colleagues from LBG have taken part in  volunteering days to help the school, we have painted, tidied up the garden and created fun sensory objects / activities for the amazing children the school look after. We have all been so moved by the children, the headmaster and teachers we felt compelled to do more to to help raise some funds for a much needed outdoor play equipment. We have had a number of fundraisers in 2015 and have targeted ourselves with raising £10,000. As part of our ongoing fundraising a  number of us have decided to get our running shoes on and run various 10K events. None of the team are serious runners (with the exception of Gayle), and any support you can provide will be hugely appreciated by the school and of course the team. As employees of LBG we can take advantage of the Bank of Scotland Foundation who will match the funding up to a maximum of £500 per colleague taking part, so the more we can raise, the more the Foundation will match,  which is amazing! All donations no matter how small will make a huge difference.
