Hi guys, thanks for visiting the page.

As you may or may not know, my Aunt, Lesley Cook recently passed away unexpectedly, which came as a great shock to us all. The cancer which Lesley had was very fast moving and eventually took her from us on the evening of the 6th of June after being moved from hospital to The St. Clare Hospice in Harlow.

The care and support Lesley and my family received there was fantastic, making us all feel very comfortable and giving us peace of mind that Lesley was in the best place for her.

Therefore, I will be running the London 10k next month as an opportunity to raise money and awareness and give thanks to the foundation and the individuals that helped us all during our times of need. 

Any amount you can give, large or small, will be greatly appreciated by the hospice, which is run purely on charitable donations. This would be our way of saying thank you to such a wonderful place. We all feel strongly about raising money for the hospice as more people should have the opportunity to spend their final hours as comfortabley as Lesley spent hers.
