I am taking part in this years charity challenge for a number of reasons:

I know how important that the bucket and spade holiday scheme is having spoken to members who have received much needed breaks thhrough the scheme.

I am using this event to make as many people as possible aware of the services that are provided by UNISON Welfare such as debt counselling, school uniform grants and winter fuel grants.

I am also doing this for me, to prove I can do it and am i training so my health will also benefit.
