My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel cancer with secondary tumours in his stomach in May 2005 he was 40 years old. After various chemotherapy treatments, Pauls treatment was withdrawn after a year. He attended Kirkwood Hospice twice for pain management, then on Friday 23rd June 2006 Paul was admitted to the hospice for the last time. Paul eventually passed peacefully early morning of the 27th June 2006.....the day before our 10th wedding anniversary 😢. He was 41 years old. 

I and our two daughters, Charlotte and Edele, can not thank Kirkwood enough for their kind, caring and supportive staff who treat my husband with the utmost respect and allowed Paul to pass with dignity.
