I'm taking on the 10,000 Steps Challenge throughout November to raise money for Royal British Veterans Enterprise (RBVE)* and for whom I’m a proud supporter.

This incredible charity provides lifelong care and support to veterans, their families, and people with disabilities. Your donation will help me reach my fundraising goal and show our veterans and their families that we are here for them.

My father served with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (R.E.M.E) and my grandfather also served with the army.

As we approach Remembrance Day, as well as raising funds for RBVE, I’m also undertaking the challenge in heartfelt memory of my uncle, William ‘Bill’ Gallacher, one of the 862 fatal casualties from HMS Barham when it was torpedoed and sunk off the Egyptian coast in the afternoon of 25 November 1941.
