Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page
From Lesleyann,
I was asked to update so even if you read please read on ........
So if you've read this before you might have noticed a little change, that being that I've decided to swim double the distance that now being 1500m instead of 750m and with 4 weeks to go I've still not reached that distance yet but with help from my cousin Lee who keeps me going and encouraging me to get out in the open water for training which I'm loving and extremely grateful for so thanks Lee.xx
I was recently asked why would you want to swim in the Loch, and as most of you know I have MS and while I look fine most of the time I also struggle alot of the time too, and because of these times it makes me think about what I can and cant do and what I might not be able to still do one day and sure there are alot more worse off than me and because of that I would like to do something to help while I can still do it and because I enjoy swimming (only ever in a pool) I wanted to challenge myself and tick something else of my 'list', before I cant. Oh and Loch Lomond whilst it can be dangerous, so I'm not recommending you go and jump right in because you have to be prepared and kitted out with all the proper kit for safety reasons, is absolutely stunning and has been beautiful albeit cold to swim in recently.

I feel proud helping my cousin Lesleyann reach & smash her swimming challenge.
This is also a personal challenge for me too having 2 very close friends Harv & Ange who like Lesleyann, face simple daily challenges living with this illness.
So please show respect for this amazing charity
