Myself and Sue are taking part in the 24hr Conti Thunder Run in July this year.  We are part of a team of 8 who will run over a 24 hour period, completing as many 10k laps around Catton Park, Derbyshire as possible.

Earlier this year our lovely friend Sharon (pictured above) was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is currently preparing to commence treatment and has a few months of this ahead of her. So in support for her, Sue and I decided we would ask for sponsorship for our part in this running challenge. I’m hoping to do 3 x 10k’s  throughout the 24 hours, whilst Sue is hoping to keep the campfire going 😂 

We are raising money for Wirral University Hospital Breast Care charity, the team supporting Sharon through her treatment!  Your support will help Sharon and other people in an amazing way and help beat cancer.
