Prudential Ride 100 2020
Campaign by The Salvation Army (RCN 214779 and in Scotland SC009359)
In 2020, take on 100 miles over the roads of London and Surrey with breath-taking views of the country side and the UKs capital.

Story

The Salvation Army is committed to helping vulnerable people and empowering those in need to rebuild their lives.

Homelessness and Modern Slavery are not just problems in other countries. These problems exist in our own local communities here in the UK. It is inconceivable to think that today, families are homeless or people are treated as commodities - bought and sold to satisfy the greed and desires of others.

I have been a member of the Salvation Army all my life, currently attending Stockton Citadel Corps. I have seen at first hand the work that the Salvation Army does, in Gods name, in this country and internationally. As with all charitable organisations funds are needed to continue the work. As a bandsman who has played carols in town centres at Christmas time I am aware of the generosity of people towards the Salvation Army and I thank you for that generosity.

As a keen cyclist I intend to complete the Prudential Ride London 100 mile cycle ride on 16th August 2020, as a member of the ' Sally Army Riders' team, in order to raise money to continue the work outlined above.

Please accept my thanks if you feel you can support me in this venture by donating to my Just Giving Page.

Together we can help transform lives!
