We are here to offer UK-based advice and support to people with birthmarks and their families. We are a registered charity, set up in 1998 by parents of children with vascular birthmarks.

Story

Hi, thank you for visiting my fundraising page for my son Alexander (Great Ormond Street Hospital), and for a little boy called William and his foundation (Niemann Pick Research).

All my friends know the journey we have had with Alexander, the photo's on here show his journey. I'm a very lucky person to have the family I have and to have received such great support from GOSH. This is my way of paying them back in a small way.

Some years ago I heard about William at the Niemann Pick Foundation, I promised my friends Helen and Jeremy that I would raise funds for young William on my next mad adventure. William I will be thinking of you as I tackle those mad hills in August 2013.

I do hope you will donate whatever you can to help these two great causes. In return you will be helping lots of children have a better life, a life we all take for granted every day but one so fragile and uncertain for so many.

Many thanks

Leslie Pendlebury-Bowe
