After spending so much time with my late wife at the yorkshire cancer centre (st james leeds) one of the most heartbreaking things i saw was the children attending the childrens ward. Seeing the children and knowing that some of them wont ever leave the hospital made a very real,lasting imprint on me. The bravery shown by the kids convinced me that i could possibly do something to help fundraise for the martin house hospice which helps to make the childrens last days as peacefull as possible. I may not be able to run the full 10K but i will 100% complete the course in memory of my wife jeanette and the children i saw at st james that never made it home
