Story
Last year my wife said... "you should go to counselling..." I replied.. " are you mad..."
Anyhow, I went - swallowed my pride and discovered a new me! Laughed a lot and shed the odd tear but grateful to the counsellor and Jigsaw. We probably need to be a bit more open within the business world - to the fact that stress is something we don't need to hold onto or try to deal with on our own. De-stigmatise the idea that it isn't cool or the right thing to do to go and talk things out... glad I did.
Jigsaw provide a much needed valuable service both to adults and children. Like many others, they require a level of finance to keep delivering their services. So, this is my way of helping - hopefully :0)
I haven't ran since 2011! - never had a desire to run again after the last time I ran a leg of the Marathon. But this deserves my effort.
I'm only doing the 3 mile leg, so I ask you just to consider giving £1 or whatever to help me reach £300.
For what it's worth, I will keep you all in my mind as I run from Bridge End, through the City Centre, up the Falls and onto the Shankill - together let's make a difference
Thanks
Les
