Women Touched by Addiction Walk · 23 July 2022 ·
I was a hopeless drug addict who didn't know how to love myself. I went through the program at Mending Hearts 2016. After completing the program I became a peer supervisor part time for 6 months and have moved all the way up to being the Residential Primary Counselor. I am now patiently waiting for a test date so I can become a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor. I never imagined after being a drug addict for 13 plus years that I would be were I'm at now. I love coming to work everyday and working with women who are just like me. By the Grace of God and Mending Hearts I couldn't ask for a better life. I continue to grow in my professional and personal life daily. I know if I can do it anyone can.
