Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am trying to raise money for diabetes UK, My dad Les Warren passed away on the 6th December 2017. He lost his legs 9 years ago, Even though he lost his legs he got on with life, Working, driving, seeing friends, going out with his 10 grandchildren as much as he could, then in April 2017 he ended up on dyalisis but unfortunately lost his battle to this horrible disease.
My dad was an amazing man who battled through everything that got thrown at him, He was a kind and caring man and was loved by so many people. He always made me laugh, and I could count on him for everything.
So my goal is to try raise £500 to donate to this charity because I would love to help people who are struggling with diabetes like my dad did.
I will be doing a fundraiser doing a 20 Mile walk to Whitby from Scarborough , further details of this will be added after the new years.
I would really appreciate anyone who could donate, Thank you.
Just to remind people if you are tax payers you can also give Gift aid which also helps me reach my goal.
