Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are running a charity badminton event on Saturday 19th November to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) because we have family members and friends who have been affected by MND and would like to raise funds for much needed research into this cruel disease.

For those that don't know, MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing neurological disease which attacks the nerves that control movement so that muscles no longer work. This initially leads to weakness and wasting and then, eventually, severe paralysis and breathing difficulties.

There is currently no cure but hopefully with your donations we can go some way to helping find one.

Let's Smash MND is a badminton event involving games, exhibition matches, opportunities to challenge current and former Loughborough Elite players, coaching and many other fundraising activities including a raffle with some great prizes

There is no charge for admission as such but we just ask that you make a donation via this page to the MNDA.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
