Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Sing for Water is a mass adult choir of over 800 people traditionally led by renowned composer, singer and musical director Helen Chadwick . Sing for Water was initiated in 2002 by Helen to provide a high quality concert event as part of the Thames Festival programme, while raising money and awareness for the charity WaterAid.

The mass adult choir is now an annual feature of the Mayor’s Thames Festival. In 2010, over 40 choirs from all over the UK took part in the concert.

Sing for Water events have so far raised over £487,000 for WaterAid projects in India, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Malawi, bringing clean water, sanitation and hygiene education to thousands of people.

This year, a group of us from Let's Sing The World singing group, based in Newbury will be travelling up to London to take part in this fantastic event.  Please support us by making a donation.
