Sight Scotland has supported and campaigned for people affected by visual impairment for over two centuries, but we know we can do more. Our vision is an inclusive Scotland where everyone, regardless of their sight, has the opportunity to thrive. But we can only achieve this with your help.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have set up this page on behalf of Alec's friends and colleagues who will be walking a total of 500 miles, around Lochore Meadows in his memory, on Saturday the 21 September 2013.   Alec was quiet, humble, reliable, caring, and an exceptionally talented, very special man.

Alec's fiancée of ten years MaryAnn Low, who was one of Scotland's greatest ever Paralympic swimmers, has chosen as her preferred charity, the Royal School for the Blind, Edinburgh.  Mary Ann was a former pupil there and so this charity combines Alec's involvement in Education and her own disability.

By sponsoring us you are sponsoring the event rather than an individual.
