Leuchie House Christmas Appeal · 9 November 2012

Leuchie House is a unique place where people with MS, Parkinson's & other long term conditions can have a respite break - a vital lifeline away from the difficulties of living with their condition. With tailor-made trips, activities & care we support them to have a real break away from the everyday.

Story

Christmas is such an exciting time for everyone with festive parties, Christmas trees to decorate, presents to wrap and lots of food to eat. People that come to stay at Leuchie don’t always get the chance to do the simple things that many of us take for granted over Christmas.

Please add Leuchie to your Christmas Shopping list and help us make the festive cheer last all year for our guests by giving a gift of care.

· £15 for a physiotherapy session

· £33 pays for 2 hours of specialist Nursing Care

· £85 takes guests out on a day trip

· £182 is the average nightly cost of care for a guest

At Leuchie House we’re there to provide a helping hand and much needed respite breaks for individuals and their carers who are affected by long term conditions like Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s, Stroke and Spinal injuries.

Thank you for helping to improve the lives of guests like Peter Johnstone who says “Leuchie House hospitality and care is second to none and it’s the only place where I feel like a guest rather than a patient. The staff really make my break, they are worth their weight in gold!”

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from everyone at Leuchie House.
