The ECT staff at leverndale Hospital are raising funds for Zomba Hospital, Blantyre, Malawi. The money will be used to purchase patient monitoring equipment identified by the ECT Service development activities at the hospital. Our colleague Dr Selena Gleadow Ware will be working at Zomba over the next 2 years and is striving to improve standards of patient care. This will be achieved through staff training and education. Approprate patient monitoring equipment will also contribute to improved care and safety for patients receiving ECT at the hospital.
