Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Last year I ran the Paris Marathon to raise money for The Stroke Association. Thanks to the generosity of friends, family and colleagues, I raised just under £1900 (thoroughly beating my target).

This year I'm running the Virgin London Marathon on 17 April. Again, I'm running for The Stroke Association, and have been writing a series of articles for their Paris Marathon bond runners.

I'm not setting a fundraising target this year. However, if you feel like donating to show your support, everything will be gratefully received and will go towards a good cause.

As with last year, I've been updating my training blog, if you're interested in finding out a little more about this year's efforts.
