Acorns Children's Hospice Trust - Walk for Worcestershire · 1 July 2012 ·

Acorns supports more than 800 children and over 1,100 families every year. The charity needs to raise £14 million each year to provide its care services across hospices and community settings. Your support means Acorns can continue to be there for local families facing the unimaginable.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My dad normally does a charity event for Acorns each year, but he's busy with work this year (it's his excuse for not doing the half marathon this year), so it gives me a chance to do something to help raise money instead. Don't worry, mum and dad are doing this walk with me!

Acorns helped us all out a lot when Harry was ill. They looked after me, mum and dad, as well as Harry.

We have a special stone in the rememberance garden that we go and see to say hello to Harry. If Acorns did not have the money to be there for us, we do not know what we would have done.

Acorns needs to be there for other families like us, so please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks,

Lewis
