In November 2018 my Mum was diagnosed with cancer. Right from the beginning Macmillan were there offering help and support, not just to Mum but to myself, my brothers and my Dad. Sadly Mum lost her battle on 3 September 2019 but Macmillan were there all the way through. In March I participated in Ironman Marbella 70.3 and successfully raised over £1000 for Macmillan. I have decided to go for the full Ironman which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle then a 26.2 mile run (marathon) which is double the distance of the event in March. I have put a lot of time and effort into getting ready for the challenge so please support me to support Macmillan and help others with cancer!
